On behalf of Orienteering USA, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2027 World Trail Orienteering Championships in Los Angeles. This championship gathers the best in PreO, TempO, and Relay - including the outstanding P-class athletes who inspire all of us with their skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Trail orienteering is a sport for everyone, and we celebrate the achievements of all competitors who exemplify inclusion and fair play.
Los Angeles is known around the world for its diversity, creativity, and iconic culture, from sun‐soaked beaches to its global role in entertainment and sports. The city invites you to explore, enjoy, and experience the energy and vibrancy that make it a truly remarkable destination. The local organizing team, led by the LA Orienteering Club, will share the unique character of this region, the variety of terrains, and the welcoming spirit that make Los Angeles a perfect host for trail orienteering.
