The World Trail Orienteering Championships 2027 will follow the COMPETITION RULES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORIENTEERING FEDERATION (IOF) TRAIL ORIENTEERING EVENTS (Rules for the World Trail Orienteering Championships).

Orienteering USA Rules of Competition, Section D “Rules for Trail Orienteering Events” will be used for USA National Ranking events.

Indemnity
All participants will be required to sign a release of liability.
